Pilates sessions come in many forms, with a myriad of focuses beyond just general exercise and conditioning. Injury prevention, post physical therapy rehabilitation, cross-training for athletes, preparation for child-birth and post-partum recovery are just a few examples.

Studio Private and Semi-private Sessions

Private instruction is the very best way to start. Having someone guide your unique body through the fundamentals helps you feel the subtleties of Pilates much better than you could in a larger class. This is also the best option if you have any current injuries or limitations, as the instructor can tailor the session to reflect your body's needs. In a semi-private you still get great personal attention though you are sharing the time with another student. These sessions utilize the Pilates equipment, which can both assist you in difficult exercises, and add resistance for greater challenge.

Rates: Private Sessions: $75 Single, $350 for 5, $650 for 10, New student special 3 for $180                                     Semi-private Sessions (2 Students): $50 single, $225 for 5, $375 for 10                                                         If cost is a concern, sliding scale rates are available, please contact me for more information.

Mat Classes

The foundation of Pilates work, mat classes can improve your strength, flexibility and balance for greater overall wellbeing. We apply a modern sensibility to Joseph Pilates’ classic mat exercises, and use small props such as balls and foam rollers to add challenge and address the whole body. Any level student from novice to advanced is welcome, and exercises can be modified so each individual feels both safe and challenged.

Mat classes are taught at my home studio, exact location given upon registration.

Pre and Post-Natal

Pilates is a wonderful way to condition your body for the changes of pregnancy, the marathon of labor and birth, and helps the body recover much more quickly after. It can also be a fun way to exercise with your baby!
